Rickey Cleveland-George is the 2016 GBSL Coach of the Year
London—- Rickey Cleveland-George the former Kosovo Super League head coach is the 2016 Global Basketball Summer League Coach of the Year. Rickey Cleveland George won the 2016 GBSL Championship in Session A and has been a featured coach in the event the past (3) summers. Rickey also won the GBSL Championship in 2015 and has impacted the event with his coaching passion and leadership skills. Rickey has the uncanny ability to motivate young athletes and to get them to buy into his coaching system. Rickey coached two years professionally in the Kosovo Super League and is the former Director of Operations for the World Basketball Association. Rickey is young upcoming coaching personality that contributed to the GBSL by mentoring the athletes and facilitating job opportunities overseas. Rickey is a former professional player that had stints in Estonia, Germany, Kosovo and the ABA.
Rickey Cleveland-George is currently looking for coaching opportunities in the overseas, NBA D League and NBL Canada markets and would be a valuable asset to any professional sports organization.
